Are You Looking Out For Me Or The Seller?

Unless I am the listing agent on a property, you would have the option of working either way. You could either have me work so I am looking out for the seller's best interest as a Seller's Agent, or you could have me work as a Buyer's Agent, where I would be looking out for your best interest. My preference is to work as a Buyer's Agent. If an agent sells their own listing, they are obligated to look out for the seller. This means you must be careful what you say about anything that affects negotiations, whenever you are with the listing agent.
